I'm planning on restoring my 89gt, and I would really like to build a turbo motor for it. I would like everyones input on my planned setup. I would especially like to hear any holes you may see, and if possible potential hp. I am leaning towards the B&G turbo kit.

boss block
All forged 331 kit
Milodon Oil pan
either afr 185s or victor jr heads
victor spider intake
90 mm tb
electric water pump

I am planning on running dual 255lph external fuel pumps with all an lines
Car has built 8.8 with 4.11 gears
Aod that will receive major overhaul

Not currently sure what stall and injector size to go with. When car is finished, it will be completely tuned by Walsh racing.

im building a turbo setup as well. my advise from what ive been told and read would be to definitely ditch the 411 gears. I'm pretty sure they won't work too well with that aod..

Drop to a 3.27 with the AOD - with 3.73's I was bouncing off the limiter at roughly 1000' mark.

On the converter I would contact a few different places - they're the pros for a reason.

I personally went with a DirtyDog and it stalls around 3000

I am considering 308s over 373's with my c4'ed B&G'ed setup.

The AOD wont hold if you plan on making 600+ HP. Throw a th400 or a lentech in it. And if you go Vic jr, get the nitrous ones, they have large vol. exh ports.
