When I first got into HPDE stuff in my Subaru, I was running stock brakes. I used cryo'd rotors a couple times, and it did seem that they had improved longevity compared to non-cryo'd rotors. Eventually I shifted to bigger WRX-size brakes, and with good quality (Centric Premium) rotors being cheap and easy, I decided I didn't need to do the cryo thing anymore.

Wow how many times you done the brakes on your sub? 4? You must drive the crap out of that thing.

Well, I started auto-xing it in '98 and did my first HPDE in '00, so it's seen plenty of use. And I'm definitely hard on brakes.
