looking for real world feedback not theories

what made you add nitrous into the equation?

are you happy with it?

what would you change if you had to do it all over again?

A friend of mine uses it only to get off the line in his LS powered Camaro. As soon as boost reaches 5 psi he knocks the nitrous off. It's remarkably consistent and predictable.

I helped him set his Holley EFI up for it.

He primarily does it so he can foot brake race, but with the transbrake he doesn't have to bump in like I do.

It works so well on his car I thought about doing this myself, but I never run foot brake. I would never run it down track in my car, the only place I would consider it is off the line to eliminate bumping in.

can i ask why not?
it's there so why not take advantage of the added cooling effect?

i'm running pro-m efi setup which has an awesome nitrous controller, but i'm on the fence as you need the pro-m driver, the nitrous kit, purge and bottle heater. at least to do it right.
