I haven't heard of too many cars running this heads. I have this heads in mine but I am thinking of porting them. I wan to know if there is some high horsepower potential with this heads.

NMCA mean street cars have run high 8's with the vic jrs and a plate kit, so they have potential.

Thanks, I took my car to the dyno and it put down 364rwhp only (
342ci). The engine had timing pulled for a 100shot but I was real dissapointed. I am thinking of porting them and getting a bigger solid roller cam.

66notch, can you give me details of you combo? you running N/A

Yes N/A. 408w, around 11:1 compression, fuel injected, hydraulic roller cam, super victor intake, Mac longtube headers, MT 275/60/15 DR, 4.10 8.8 and a C-4. Street driven and to the track but not DD. I have only run the 1/4 mi once our local track is 1/8 mi.

Something is bad off on your combo to be a 408 with 11:1 compression and only putting down high 300s HP. You need to get that car to someone who knows how to tune a mustang.

My 347ci runs 10.50s with a 205cc cylinder head I would like to think that 210cc is plenty for you.

I've been away in business, but thank you all for the input. I checked out FoX Lake racing and Keith Craft. I don't want to do a complete overhaul, so I'll just send the intake and heads to one of this shops. Hopefully my 342ci will hold and I can have some fun.

well i have a new set of lightly ported ones in the box sitting in the front room. waiting on a set of crane valve springs that will hold back the 18 lbs. of boost the procharger is gonna pump to the 408w. thats the only catch about these heads from what ive found out....there good but the original springs wont seal properly under a fair amount of boost. as far as a n/a motor goes, ive talked to several speed shops that say there are some better heads out there but not much difference, and for the money you cant beat them.
