Doesn't the low speed turn on at like 190 and the high at 210? Could it just be rewired to turn it on high @ 190 to keep it cooler?
Also, when ppl rig up a fan switch, does it turn on high or low speed? Or can it be wired to do either?
Thanks ;)

Easiest thing to do it buy two Bosch 20/30amp relays, wire, and a three way center position switch. Just unplug the fan plug and run some wiring and all done. This way I have total control over my fan. Most of the time it is on low speed (constant high speed draws too many amps), and I can switch it to high speed if needed.

it turns on the high speed. i guess if you knew what wire to tap into, you could just as easily run it on low speed.

Just wire it up like mine, and itll run constant high speed, which is best. it will not draw too many amps. our cars have the 130 amp alternator, so no worries with charging. i run my high speed fan all the time, and my 850wt stereo and at nite headlights, and in rain wipers, still charges fine, never had a dead battery once. Not one charging issue. so im almost positive u would never a charging problem, just rig up ur high speed fan to come on with a switch wired to #17(green and purple wire.. i think..)on the ccrm, or whatever its called.
