With a stock 6 rib tensioner I was running a 2.75" pulley on my V1 T-trim with minimal slip.

What do you guys set your tensioner to? Do you do by feel? Or do you actually tq it?

I'm running a 7.25 IW crank balancer with a 2.65 pulley which puts me over the impeller speed limit.
It does make 19 psi and 577rwhp but o also have a thump tensioner.

I'm running an 8 rib, 2.95 blower pulley, 6.87 crank pulley, and using a Gates green stripe belt. The belt along with an eBay billet belt tensioner seems to have little, if any, belt slip issues

Over spinning the blower thing doesn't work for all blowers. I believe Vortech has a compressor map for their superchargers. Learn how to read one and find out where on that map you sit and you may be surprised to see that the blower is no longer in its efficiency range. So you get a lot more hot air and excessive drive pressure.

I hope this helps
