i was wondering due to the car being new. i thought i should change the diff/tranny fluid as well as the oil.due to the new parts and all. has anyone changed all their fluids out as well? it just makes sense to change the diff due to metal shavenings. the same for the tranny. parts are breaking in and i think i will do it. just wanted some feedback. thanks:D

I agree it is not necessary for manual trans and differential. The differential has hardened gears and other than a short break in so the interfacing parts thermally cycle, they are quite hardy. However, it is not a bad idea fir auto trannies, what with their tiny little valves and such, where any slag has the small chance of mucking up things.

I like to change the engine oil at 1000 miles - just in case there are remnants of the sand casting floating about. I stick with mineral oil until about 3k then switch to either syn or a blend of 4 qts Pennzoil, 1 quart Red Line/
