just put some street tires on the front of the car(you should tow with the rear end on the dolley).

I had a FWD Acura Integra that I did like that. I just went to the junkyard and found some 13 or 14" wheels/tires and bolted them on the rear when I towed. Worked good, went from Knoxville TN to VIR and back like that.

Shouldn't be any issues with towing it from the front if the car is standard trans. You can remove the driveshaft as mentioned if it is an auto. I'd put some regular tires on the end that is on the ground during towing.

My 94 GT blew a head gasket ontrack.. My brother drove out 6 hours to get me with a Uhaul tow dolly... It was impossible to fit the car on the dolly. Not only was the rear too wide to fit on (And I only had 275's out back, nothing wide) and even if it'd fit on, it wouldn't have sat in the wheel "pockets" design to hold it on without removing the exhaust tips. There was no way it would have fit on facing fowards either, even if I had removed the driveshaft. I had to wind up leaving it there for a week till I could get back down there with a Auto-Transport trailer. What a pain.

Cliffnotes: Lowered (1 1/2 inches) Mustang will not fit on Uhaul tow dolly in my experience.
