Any header cracking ?
Build quality of kit and fitment?
How whould it compare it in today's market to what's out there?
Whould you buy the kit again?
Did it spool up quick what type of power did you you make?

I found a used one and just really am not up to date on that kit.

2 welds on the front tubes on the pass side header did crack at the flange, turbo header. I rewelded the welds and never had a problem after that, 10 years. Fit and finish was good imo. I ran a precision 76 on a 352 (302 based). Made 787rwhp thru an aod, about 900fwhp. Only reason I sold it was to go with a twin setup. CG fabrications stil makes the kit if you wanted to buy it new.

Thanks for the reply I saw them online .I found a used kit .Seems like a nice kit and only stuff I found from the old files was fairly negitave and I thought it seems like it was built well.
So the main ? Is this kiylt being used with 14 year old turbo technology as good as a on3 with a 67 mm?
What one whould you pick New on 3
Or a used ptk at the same price?

I agree with jumper..the quality of the ptk kit is way better than on3..header flanges are at least 3/8" thick.. between them and HP,those were the only two kits I would consider..and both are no longer sold by the original makers..CG fab makes a copy of the ptk,and he was one of the original builders of the kits back when ptk was in business

My ptk headers had 1/2" flanges. My new b&g headers also have 1/2" flanges. Not sure about hp. CG Fabrication makes the exact ptk kit, not a copy. He is the one that made them for ptk. He will make it in stainless if you want.
I bought headers and dp's from B&G last year. Great to work with and no issues so far. I think the problem with b&g right now he is really backed up.

Great info thanks .This was a used kit I was looking at made a long time ago guy is selling now the PTK.Pony down and [email protected] are always busy it seems.I did not want to pass up a great kit seller wanted $1800 so that's about the same money as a brand new on-3. I'm not in a huge hurry to get a the car out so I can wait for a good kit .But I was not familiar with PTK so wanted to ask .Thanks again for the information .
