From what I've seen before, the Vortech MAF is a C&L. I've been looking for a ProM to use with a Densecharger and I posted a couple of want adds. Well one guy replied that he had a Vortech mass air that had a 4 bolt pattern that bolts to an adapter plate for the K&N. He said it's similar to this one from ProM:

It was my understanding that all the C&L units used a hose clamp instead of bolts. I know that C&L says to not use a CAI. So is the Vortech MAF a C&L or a ProM design? Thanks.

I haven't been keeping up with late-breaking developments, but in the past, Vortech used the C&L meter. I have both the C&L 80 and the Pro-M 87mm MAFs. Both use hose clamps to the intake tube and to the air cleaner. BTW, the Pro-M 87 is for sale, complete with electronics (calibrated for 24lb Cobra).
