Should I replace the factory stock air filter with a K&N (or other brand)?

  • No, leave it as is.

  • Yes, but it won't make a performance difference, just save you cash.

Hi gang - new member with a new 2013 Shelby! :)

In my past cars, I've replaced the factory air cleaner with a K&N filter, which seemed to provide a bit of a boost to those cars. Now, should I replace the one in my Shelby too? Ford tuned so many parts on this car, maybe the stock filter is as good? Just looking for some opinions...

Thanks!

if the stock filer was paper then yes change it, but i believe ford uses a cotton gauze performance filter on the gt500 so i think there will be no need to change it unless you need a bigger one
