Doing a quick crankshaft and bearing replacement on a 351w and time is a factor. The crankshaft came with ACL Aluglide main and rod bearing. Never heard of them. How bad are these bearings?

A quick research found the ACL Race version are not bad and are made in Australia. These say made in Mexico. I have to have this done and back in the vehicle by tomorrow. Autopart store say they can get Clevite bimetal in midday tomorrow so that puts a big crunch on time.

Should I try these ACL bearings? Or really wait for Clevite, spend the 100$ and rush for time?

thats reassuring to hear. i went ahead and installed them. didnt see any issues with them. bearing clearences were alittle loose but still within allowable spec (most around 0.0020") and could be caused by the reman crankshaft i didnt measure spec of
