I have a 90 lx and I did a cobra brake conversion with cobra r rims and 245/45 tires in front and 275/40 in back.I am planning repainting my car in the spring and I have heard that th 91-93 fenders have a bigger wheel opening than the ones on my 90.Is this true and will they bolt up to my car without problems and are the 91-93 4cyl fenders the same as the 5.0.

They are slightly wider but the only real difference is the lower extension between the wheel opening and the bumper cover. it's 1" narrower on the 91-93's.

You can gain the same clearance just by getting those extensions and trimming the stock fender back to clear from the wide moulding down. The cut is hidden by the extension so unless you need new fenders there really isn't any reason to swap the entire fender when the extensions can be used with some minor trimming.

I do believe the 4 bangers got the same treatment so there should be plenty of parts avaliable out there.
