I was told it has a cam? but it has under drive pullies, conicle filter, mac headers, mac off road, dyno max bullet muflers, lakewood traction bars, drag radials, lower torque boxes welded. I am going to take it to the track for the first time and Im not to sure where to shift an auto,I have ran 5 speeds, but no autos. It sounds like it should be shifted around 5, does that sound about right. :salute:

Find a shop with a dyno. For $50 to $100 you can get a graph of your power curve and stock guessing where to shift.

The stock AOD is not optimal for performance because it lags during shifts. You may be able to hold the 1-2 shift but once in "D" it'll shift 2-3 on it's own unless you do the L-D-L shuffle. To add, unless you know what cam, as said above, you'd be better off getting on a dyno to see the power curve.
