I purchased this 1986 Mustang GT in September 2012 from a gentlemen in Kansas City which owned the car since 2006. The was car then shipped to Miami, Fl where it's been living in my garage since. I was planning finished her, and make her a full time auto X and road race car while still looking like a real clean 86 GT. However, due to my work schedule and my current assignment this project has been delayed numerous times.

According to the previous owner, the paint is partially original. I would rate it as seven due to vehicle age, paint flaws and small chips when the previous owner road raced it. I know the front mask and hood was repainted. The car is extremely straight and has never been crash or has any signs of rust or repairs. It does have a same dent between on the driver's side door. (between molding/lower half). I would have to show it to you person. The interior is 8 and very clean for his age. I have way over $16k into it, thats including the purchase of the car. But the car clearly has over 16K in parts and labor alone.

1986 Black Ford Mustang GT -VIN# 1FABP28M8GF240160 / 33,xxx miles original miles on the body. Only options the car came with was sunroof, rear defrost and A/C. I have the Original window sticker, build sheet and a 3 inch binders with all part & labor receipts.

Since I've owned this car, all repairs and upgrades have been done by LUJAN MOTORSPORTS home of the first 7 second NMRA True Street Stang.

I've only driven the car approximately 600 miles since I've owned it. Last year I drove up to PBIR and ran a [email protected] with 1.82 60ft. This was with 17 inch M/T 275 drag radials,550 lbs front rate springs and monroe GP shocks. Unfortunately I had a 5700 pill limiter and my clutch was properly adjusted. I'm sure she's capable of running somewhere in the 12.00's on motor maybe even high 10's on spray. Only raced her once unfortunately :(
The week before going to the track, she made 387 rhwp on 93 pump gas. Due to a couple of changes she might be at 392 rwhp now.

The fuel gauge does not read accurate (off 1/4), because the Auto Meter Fuel Gauge ohms does not match the sending unit. The A/C is blowing a little warm it needs to be recharged. If you are planning to street drive this car a lot, I would re-align the car for street specs so you don't wear out the front tires.

The only trade I would consider is for a 99-04 Lightning or 03/04 Harley F150. I do not need to sell the car, I just hate seeing this type of car just sitting there.

I'll let her go for $10k Firm

I work a crazy hours with no set schedule so just give me a little time to respond. In my opinion, won't find a cleaner four eye with all these mods for this price anywhere. I would really recommend for you come and see this car in person. For more information or pictures please call or text me ar 786.299.1030 or [email protected]

Jim's is the orignal builder of the car. His friend Mike purchased the car years later and I purchased in 09/12. Jim did a great job a documenting the build.

I bought this 86 in April of 2006 from Jim. Hector bought it from me sight unseen. Hated to sell. Jim is a good friend and did a fantastic job in building her. The buyer of this Mustang will not be disappointed. The EFI was ditched back in the early 90's from the person who owned it before Jim. Car has run a best of 11.8 @116 with slicks and skinnies. Love the 5 lug swap. Something Jim and I didn't get around to do. GLWS Hec. Hope she goes to a good home. I have a few vids of her on youtube. I had no idea this was the last cruise Angie and I took in her.
