Hey all,
Just got my all forged motor together and will be getting it installed soon. Just wanted to know if anyone else has the 76mm option for their hellion system on a 2005-10 4.6. I have a JPC intake and may also get some custom cams and I'm hoping to hit around 650rwhp around town on pump gas and 12-15psi and turned up on race gas around 25-30psi to get closer to 900 rwhp. Just wanted to know if anyone else has a similar setup and how it's built. I'm currently going through a TCI 5r, but know it's life will be shortened and plan on converting over to a TH400 in the future.
Thanks

Not too many on this board have built the newer style cars.

I'm presuming you're refering to the 76/68 turbo ,, I don't see that thing making anywhere near 900rwhp. 750 is probably all it'll do on a 3v motor.

You want the Precision 76/75, that turbo will support 900rwhp and a couple guys have pushed 1000. The crossover merge pipe is good for 900rwhp, but you'll need a 4" [or 5"] downpipe going out to a dual 3" exhaust or dumping it before the axle to keep the back pressure from killing your powerband,.

Search on the S197forum for guys running the Hellion and ON3 clone making 800+rwhp and the PT7675.

The Hellion and ON3 clone get a bad rap with the way they route the pipe but a local guy was running an ON3 kit with their 7875 and was trapping 5.80's @125 with a 3500lb car and a 4r70 on the 1/8th so powerwise he was close to 1000.

Motor wise a forged short block with Manley H-beams, Diamond pistons, Cobra crank will handle 1000+hp.

Thanks for the good info...looking forward to seeing what I can get out of it. I have the 76/75 turbonetics with billit impeller and ball bearing upgrade. My down pipe is 3" and exits just behind my passenger side tire...no issues with backpressure.
