Have a 93 GT, When starting engine serpentine belt screams for a few seconds. No matter engine hot or cold. Been goin on for a while. Replaced belt, pulley bearings checked for pulley alignment. All good. Disconnected alternator connectors, started engine and NO belt screaming. Nice normal start. Reconnected connectors belt screams again. Alternator is charging properly. WTF. Confused. Yes, 3G cable upgrade kit installed

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Ok im no expert but are you sure its the belt? Im wondering if it is possibly a bad/ worn bearing having a load put on it when charging? Have you tried listening to each end of the alternator with a mechanics stethoscope to see if the noise is coming from the alternator itself?
