can i get a little input as to what cam may perform best with my combo? here it goes: 94 gt,4r70w,2500 stall ,373 gears
357 windsor with flat tops,trickflow 170s,single plane intake,750 annular carb. heres the cams im considering

olid Roller Cam. Good cam for high performance street or mild strip applications, in 302-351 c.i. motors. Needs 2500-3000 RPM stall converter or 4/5-speed transmis- sion, headers, 9.5:1+ compression ratio and 3.73+ gearing. Rough idle. ; Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 267/273 ; Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 237/243 ; Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .602/.616 ; LSA/ICL: 110/106 ; Valve Lash (Int/Exh): .016/.016 ; RPM Range: 2500-6800

Hydraulic Roller Cam. High performance street/bracket cam. Needs 10:1 compression minimum, increased induction and exhaust. Needs 3.55+ gearing. Requires computer mods. Very strong above 3500 RPM.; Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 282/290; Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 231/239; Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .571/.587; LSA/ICL: 110/106; Valve Lash (Int/Exh): Hyd/Hyd; RPM Range: 2600-6600

With the 2500 stall and assuming a full interior 94 which is a little portly compared to the older Foxes, Id run something like this: Should be a nice broad power band.

This idea that the weight difference between Foxbodies and SN95 cars matters should just die already. The difference is maybe 200 pounds when comparing similar configurations. That's a passenger. Maybe a passenger and some stuff in the trunk. But it's not insurmountable and a 357W is not going to notice it.

Agreed, but my point was more about being a full interior street car versus maybe a gutted out race car. Should have been more clear.

thanks guys for the responses,car is mostly gutted,it is a "89 351 block,will be using link bar-lifters,im personally leaning towards the lunati solid roller cam but i wanted some opnions of some of you guys that know more than me

its a street and strip car,i dont mind making adjustments on valves,done it before on another solid flat tappet i had...
