Am building a nice little 3.8 for the street. CR will be about 10.5:1. Are there any "better than OE" head gaskets out there? Or are the Ford head gaskets as good as they get?

I think they sold a slightly stronger gasket set for the years afflicted with the notorious head gasket problem. I think it might have been felpro's set, but don't quote me on that

Tom at Super Six ...

Took your advice & spoke w/Tom at Super Six. Very pleasant gentleman & got more info from him than anyone else I have spoken with over the last year (including FRPP, Livernois, Tom Morana & others). FYI, He said that the '99+ OE head gaskets are as good as anything out there. The later gaskets seem to have corrected the issues w/the early head gaskets. Thank you, gentlemen.:D
