MMR is running a special on its 2005-08 3V Shortblocks, Below are the two versions available:



MMR 2005-2008 Mustang Annihilator 4.6 Shortblock

*Brand New Cast Iron 2004 Cobra Block, Torque plate Bored and Honed

*New 4340 Forged 3.543 stroke Cobra Crankshaft w/micro polished journals

This STROKER shortblock adds .4 liters to your 05-08 Mustang engine
without anyone knowing, all factory parts bolt right on! Designed
specifically for the 05-08 Mustang, great for blowers, turbo or Nitrous.
With no other changes this Stroker shortblock will add up to 40HP and
40ft lbs of torque! This shortblock can support up to 950 Rear wheel
horsepower!!

There are no mods required, we have installed & assembled over 40 of these 05/06 Shortblocks thus far. All of the components bolt right up and include the MMR billet motor mount adapters which are the only part needed for the swap from the weak factory 05/06 Block to the New Cobra blocks as used in our MMR shortblocks.

mmr block

:confused: a couple of questions here. 1st, i posted on this forum that i am selling my engine to pick up one of yours. do you do exhanges, or trade ins. 2nd, will i be able to run my saleen supercharger on the 5.0 stoker block. and 3rd, what about heads, cams valves ect., do you offer these also.

MMR does no need a core exchange but unfortunately we do not do trades. Your saleen supercharger and all of your other parts bolt right on to our stroker motor. We sell a complete line of valves, heads, cams etc. We also have complete longblocks.

I must have something in my eye.
Is there a pic of the mounts on your site?
What other mods are needed for this block swap to 3v heads.
What is the difference with a "Cobra" iron block.
Are they not the same 2 bolt main blocks for 2v and 4v windsors?

Vince: The mounts are on the site under the 05/06 section, no other mods are needed with an 03/04 Cobra Iron Block, the Cobra Iron block is the latest production Iron block and is by far the strongest block available so far. Let us know how we can help.

How much for a stroker longblock including CNC'd 3V cylinder heads (complete), mild aftermarket cam, oil pump/shaft, ARP mains, ARP head studs, MMR headgaskets, assembled. Setup for SC. ??

What do you estimate a 2500 mile 2006 Mustang GT longblock to be worth as a resale?

Thinking about selling my factory longblock and upgrading the entire deal.

W can do you a stroker longblock with with hand ported heads, the reason we do not use CNC heads is because a CNC head is only as good as the CNC programmer, point being most of the cnc programmers out there are not head porters, so the ports are just grazed slightly with a end mill and give a clean finish but they do little to improve the heads flow, MMR uses experienced head porters that do work for NASCAR, MIDGET and USAC style racing, our heads will outflow ANY cnc port dollar for dollar. A MMR Stroker mod 950 with MMR stage 2 ported 3 valve heads with stainless steel swirl polished valves and the above mentioned options would be $6699.99. Let us know how we can help.

Why not do the hand CNC porting, then let the CNC machine map/copy/trace the excellent hand port work, so that way you can do repeatable CNC porting that is a duplicate of the best of class hand port work your team can produce?
