I have a 93 GT convertible that I just bought. The problem is that it will not start. In fact, will do NOTHING. Battery is 100% fully charged. Checked it with a meter. When I turn the key, there is nothing. no lights, no horn, no start, nothing! When the battery is tested without cables connected, it reads fully charged. When I connect the pos and neg cables, there is a dead short according to the meter. Tried jump starting with a reliable jumper and still get nothing. Any ideas on where to start. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreaciated.

thanks Al

I have to ask

if the battery is tested good, and you cannot get it to crank

WHY would you try to jump start it?

then we will move on to diag

you will need a wiring diagram for your car in front of you.

start with your ground cable, then move to the connection on the ecu (make sure you have one and its connected, then look into the key ignition. check all fuses
