Sounds like a nice build. You are going to take a bath on a not running car with all those good parts. Sell the roller and part it out.

1991 lx coupe for sale

Yes I know; parts alone add up to almost 40,000. I would like to get 16,000. Came from the factory with Ziebart rust protection and garage kept after that. I don't have time to part out

Without a running engine and in a unknown state, you’re gonna be lucky to get 8-10k. It’s basically a roller with a blown motor. Sounds like an awesome car, but just how it works.

And by blown I don’t mean the Vortech! Haha

Your imagination is getting the best of you. It does start and idle. I did not have a catastrophic failure. I suspect that I may have a partially damaged head gasket as I do have some hydrocarbons in the coolant, but it's not frothy. There are a lot of skilled mechanics on the message boards that could refresh the engine and have an instant 9 sec car. I never reached the full potential. I took the car to the track only 2 or 3 times a year. The 635rwhp was with an air fuel ratio of 10 to 1 and 15 pounds of boost.

No Imagination here my friend. Be more specific in you first post. An “engine refresh” is vague and far different from a simple head gasket fix. So as it is based on your first post, ya, I’d say you’d get about 10K. I am a competent member who has turned their car into mid 9 second car. So this isn’t my first rodeo. Regardless, I’m sure your car is great and will make someone happy. Post up some pics and let us see! Maybe think about doing a gasket refresh and get the engine running good and, from the sounds of it, get top dollar. Good luck!!! Bottom line, it’s thought selling these cars.

I’m not a cowboy, I’m from the Northeast. Although I would love to live on a big ranch in Montana. So maybe I am a cowboy at heart...? Anyways, I was in no way trying to be a jerk or be negative towards you. So if there was any confusion, I apologize. I’m not here to be a jerk, just to make friends. Sometimes reading text can cause confusion. I really only posted to be helpful.

Actually, your cowboy joke was a bit funny. I did say something about a rodeo. I’ve never been to a rodeo, I don’t even know why I wrote that!! Ha
