1985 Mustang GT 5 Speed - Back Up For SALE! New Mods!

Picked up another Mustang so this one has got to go! Motivated seller so she's got to go. Priced to sell!!!'

This is a 85 Mustang GT 5 Speed Hatch. The vehicle has been meticulously kept and well taken care of. It has never seen a Michigan winter and rain is even foreign to this vehicle. The car was originally purchased by a Ford employee and kept as a pleasure vehicle. It was then sold to the neighbor whom then again kept it as a pleasure vehicle. I then purchased it from them and brought it home were again it was the weekend/car show cruiser. This would fall under that pretty close to mint condition for being 30 years old.

Car has 54k on it and I just added a brand new set of Pony R's for it.

As far as a trade depends on what it is!

Sent you an email about the car two weeks ago, but never heard back.
I am local (just south of you).
If you are serious about selling it, let me know.

Neil sent you back an email. Sorry didnt see them as they went to my Junk email.

I'm in a tough spot with selling the vehicle right now as it's been the hardest car I have had to part with. Initially this came when I found something that I thought would have been a good replacement but it never panned out. I put it on a local craigslist and actually had some offer more than my asking price after I informed them a couple people wanted to come look at the car.

All in all everything is always for sale just depends on how bad someone really wants it!

Has anyone else ever had this issue parting with their 4eye????

lol I just experienced the same thing with my 86 4eye coupe, a guy came and looked/test drove it and put a deposit down on it 2 weeks later he came to pick it up and it had a charging issue (which was a loose ground connection on the rear frame rail that wasn't charging the battery in the trunk properly) but anyways after that he tried giving a lower offer which I declined I then cleaned and tightened the ground and have been cruising it since. so I know the feeling I don't think I can part with mine either lol

What are the bad things? Interior, rust on panels, exhaust, suspension? What condition is the original hood? I would text, but my phone isn't cooperating today

No Rust on the car, exhaust is fine all customer from headers back, original hood is in great shape, suspension is original for the most part but working fine, and Interior looks great for a car 30 Years old. This is a very clean car overall everything works and is ready to be driving everyday if you choose.
