Can't believe I'm doing this but a car I would like to have has come up for sale so I figured I give it a shot. $6250obo. 65k original miles.

I bought this car back in January. It was a California car all its life up until then. It is not perfect but is original with the exception of springs, shocks, welded MM subframe connectors, wheels, brakes and shocks. What does it need? Seat cover on the drivers side and since the paint and bodywork are original I say paint. It has rock chips from 30 years of use and a few door dings. Someone got wild with a buffer and burnt a few spots on the car but nothing major. Dash has fading and both speaker grilles have small splits, nothing horrible. It is a nice 10 footer in carguy language. It runs and drives great. The motor is smooth and it shifts great. Before I got it here it passed California emissions since the carb was rebuilt and tuned. It still breathes thru the original exhaust which has no leaks or issues. The top is a 3 year old haartz product that is in great shape. Everything on the car works and the car is loaded with all the options (even cruise even though the wheel was changed out, have original wheel). A/C works too. If you are serious then PM me and I can send you the list of upgrades. Paperwork? Tons of it, two folders full of receipts and invoices where stuff was done to the car. I also have a original '84 press kit for the 20th Anniversary party (neat stuff). I have to go with the car a new decal kit, set of rear brake shoes, strut tower bar, books on the care and maintence of the top, user manuals and warranty books, clean clear title in my name and some other odds and ends that I can't think of right now. This is a complete car down to the marchal covers and boot cover in the trunk. It is a turn key car that we've put on 300 miles of pleasure driving on with no problems. I just want to be clear that I'm selling only because a car that I would like to own has come up for sale. I'd only be interested in trades on 1986 cars and 87-93 cars, coupe, vert, hatch it does not matter. Thanks for looking. PM or email [email protected]

BTW, wheels are 17x8 up front with 245/45/17 and the rear are 17x9 with 275/45/17's. They are sumitumo tires that have good tread left.
