Hi guys, I'm selling my 1981 mustang to start another project.

This car runs perfectly. No problems with fuel pressure, starting, oil pressure, starts up every time first try (and this is a carb car). It's fast, looks good, and I get compliments on it every time I take it out. There is well over $15K invested in this car. Cars odometer only has about 90,000 miles on it, unsure if it ever rolled over - but by looking at the body, I doubt it. Underside of the car is not rotted out.

The Bad.. for a 35 year old car with original paint, there's very few:
-The car needs paint and very small rust repair (very small. VERY small.) All of it can be easily fixed with a competent body man doing the paint.
...Rear hatch has small bubble of rust in passenger side corner
...Rear pillars have less than 1/4" bubble of rusting starting to come through
-The Tachometer works, but only works up to 2000rpm, then stops there
...good news is I have a replacement tach, haven't installed yet - will come with car, as well as an ...upgrade LED kit with white lights to help with dim lighting
-The Tires in the rear have some rub marks on them from when car was initially lowered and taken for a test ride to find out that I needed to roll fenders - they're rolled now and fine.

$8500 FIRM. Paint it over the winter and cruise all next summer. Call Will at 586-596-7446
