I recently bought 17x10.5 deep dish Bullitt rims from AM for the back of my 94 GT (Cobra clone)

Now I have to decide between the matching 17x8 or 17x9 bullets for the front wheels.

The car is lowered about 1“ with Steeda springs.

Is there any advantage to the 9” rims over the stock 8”? Braking, handling, looks, other?

Has anyone had issues with the 9“ rims fitting?

The stock 8” rims use 245x45x17 tires. What tires work best with the 9l rims on an SN95?

9" wide for sure. 275/40/17. 8" on the front is useless. You'll get tons of understeer with tiny front tires/wheels. You can also run a 255/40/17 on a 9" if you're scared a 275 will rub but it shouldn't.
