1/8 mph x 1.24 = 1/4 mph on a car that works well

1/8 mile et x 1.58 =
1/8 mile mph x 1.26 =
When looking at actual time slips, those formulas are almost dead on. If you have a car set up for the 1/8 mile ( really low gears ie. 5.13 gears ) and don't have the rpm to run the 1/4 mile then those formulas don't work.

Ditto. Almost every car I have had tanslated 1/8 to 1/4 in the 1.52-1.54 range. and mph in the 1.25 range
