I'm considering building a car. I found a V6 02 mustang roller, with black interior. The car is super nice, but i'm not a modular guy. So now the question is small block ford or LS. We need to admit LS engines are one of the best engines out. Quit thinking about FORD CHEVY,it a air pump it does not know what brand it is. Plus the user friendlyness of the computer.I know this will make alot of people mad im just looking for opinions. If i built a LS engine it would be a 408, with a 76mm or80mm turbo on pump gas, six speed car you get the picture hopefully 700-800 wheel hp, witch should not be to hard with that kinda set up. Thanks let me know what you think.

really cant beat the Gen-III motors for making crazy power fairly cheap.

Find you a used 5.3 truck iron block for about $300
rebuild it to a 408.
Slap some L92 heads and L92 truck intake on it for fairly cheap
and an LS7 cam

80mm would be smallest I would go.
Maybe twin 62's or 70's

Blast out 800whp all day long

I would consider an auto over a 6 speed.
800whp clutches can get crazy expensive for a "wear" part.

I say, "f*** it" it's all in the name of horsepower anyway,right ? I think the guys at LS1 tech could help you better though.

what he said with a th400 and a good rear end, and have fun with a VERY nice setup :)

I love my ford motors...But! My cam only 6.0 has been 7.0x's in a full weight 92 coupe. You can buy 6.0's all day long for $1000 . I just sold my Kook's headers and I'm going to run a S472 blow through setup.


Damn, I guess I need to change my sig....
