Thinking about a Hellion Kit

Alright, I'mthinking about a Hellion kit for my mostly stock 92 GT. Right now I just have full lengths, 3.73s, ported stock intake with a spacer, C&L 73mm with a Anderson Ford Power Pipe, and a 75mm throttle body. Was going to get a cam and heads and all that good stuff, but now I'm thinking turbo time. I know they have kits for mostly stock motors, hell I just saw in the new MMFF a HP system on a stock 5.0 making 450+ i think (11.4s for that matter). So I'm wondering, what kind of power can I expect and what kind of kit should I look at. Also how hard would it be to install myself, I have a pretty good knowledge of cars and have done everything on my car myself. I would have it dyno tuned afterwards.

I would save your money and call Newt over @ Quicktime Turbos . His kits are very well made and fit great. They make great power . His customer service is second to no one .. check out this thread . there are quite a few people on here that have one .

Well like I said I'm look at a Hellion kit, if I'm not mistaken it comes with injectors and everything else that I will need. Also I want a twin turbo kit and that's a single turbo.

Hellion doesn't make a twin turbo kit for fox's, so you'll need to look at a different company. Visit theturboforums.com to check out all your options.

i installed my 62 mm hellion kit in one weekend(had some help drinking beer) very good kit( i have had my kit on my 89 coupe for over 2 and half years) i have had no problems, but i did have it tuned by speedy's dyno(owensboro)
the kits are a little high, but a the time that i bought mine hellion had the best snap together kit(and you don't have to cut up your mustang)

Another vote for QuickTime Turbo Systems - you're not a customer number with Newt.

One plus for the Hellion kit is it keeps all the smog crap
which he does need in San Antonio.

No I don't.

And guys I said I was thinking about a hellion kit. Not all the other kits you're talking about. Kept talk limited to the hellion kit.

you also said you wanted a twin turbo kit. which hellion doesnt produce. why you would want a twin turbo kit for a 302 is beyond me. all your getting is more plumbing in the way and more tire spin. these guys are just giving you other options. you can buy the quicktime kit which is more user friendly and still have cash for the injectors and pump for cheaper than the hellion kit. usually people who arent open to suggestions end up not being happy. my vote is for the quicktime kit. but if you are set on the hellion kit go for it. I just dont understand why you would ask if you are already set on buying that kit.

it put down 558 hp on a mustang dyno 500 torgue (13.3 lbs of boost)

306 ci with stack oil pan (AFR 185) C4 super comp trans

(most people say this hp is impossible out of a 62 mm turbo and a 5.0)

i did it a dyno event down at speedy's (owensboro)

o yeah and lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

i took the base kit ( i would have upgraded to the 76 if i do it again) You can always turn down the boost

me and two buddies knocked it out in one weekend (we put it on faster than i thought we would)

(then we had to wait two weeks to get on the dyno)

the guys at hellion where very good to talk too (the kit is on the high side, but you get what you pay for)
