Unhappy cummins/holset size?

put unit off 5.9 cummins in my 89
anyone know what size it is?
anyone know what boost levels are with internal wastegate?
will i be able to tune it , 30# injectors, 190lph pump, 75mm tb, 75mm mass air, stock computer?
any help will be appreciated.
shooting for 10's

Do you know if its an hx40?
or a hx35?

I think those are the common sizes
used by holset on those engines.

89 might be an H1C...which is an older variant of the HX35.
It might choke up a bit because its a small turbo for a single, it would be similar to running a single T4 turbo. You probably won't be able to use the internal gate as it might not open up until 15-25 PSI...or be too small of an opening causing boost creep.

Then the guy above me was correct about it being an HX35. It'll support 500 or so HP. Think stock are 12c/m housings, but you may want to find a larger turbine housing if possible.

Or sell it and try to get an HX40 turbo.

thanks for info, unit already installed, will upgrade after grassroots kit is fully functional.
