blow thru or draw thru

what are the advantages and disadvantages of either a blow through or a draw through mass air meter on a twin turbo kit? its the last thing i need to get to finish my build..should be making in the neighbor hood of 800 at the wheels if it makes a difference. also i would like to see some pics if anyone has any of their twin turbo setup's on a pushrod motor in a fox!
thanks

With twins you are probably limited to only blow through.

Yeah, you would have to do a blow thru on a twin set-up
You couldnt have 2 draw-thru's - one before each turbo

From what I gather blow thru's can have problems with reading
correctly if you dont put enough straight pipe before and after
them. where as a draw-thru gives more precise readings.

I think they both work equally well if installed properly.

6" is a good amount of straight pipe! That is how we do all the higher boost cars! Even when we do have the option to go draw through! You will most likely need a mafia even if you run a big air 3000 sct meter simply because the meter will peg way sooner when it is blow through! Good Luck Terry

yep thats what I did. I run a 3in PMAS pro tube made for blow thru only. It wasnt easy but I put the MAF in the middle of about a 18in long straight pipe.so I 6in before the meter, the meter itself, and then another 6in after it and I have had NO issues.

let me know if you want pics and I will email them.FYI its a single turbo setup tho.

I have tuned many Turbo Cars running Maf Setups! It is very important to have atleast 3-6 inches straight pipe before the Maf. It can be a driveability nightmare! if not.

JD's Performance sells PMAS meters, they have a drop down menu where you can select the calibration, injector size, blow thru etc...and like t-trim said make sure you have 6 inches or so straight before the meter...sounds like its gonna be asick street car, good luck
