Thumbs up New best time w/HP turbo

It was the last day for test/tune at our 1/8 mi. track here in FL. Great day to be racing also, 50 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Made a few runs with only 8lb of boost, went a couple 7.50s'@100. Turned up the wick to 16lbs of boost, this is on stock 16in stock pony wheels with Mickey Thompson drag radials on back, t-5 5 speed, and pump gas. Here are the results...(eight mile).

1.73 - 60ft
4.65 - 330ft
6.940 - 1/8
110.62 -mph!

Not the fastest car around, but I am very happy!

How do you leave with the 5-speed? i.e. two step, rpm?

I take it up to about 5K, and rapidly, yet sliping it a little bit I let the clutch out, then I play the church organ for the next 6.94 seconds. I would have a better time if I could leave the line with some boost.

I have a two step, I just haven't figured out a good place to wire it yet. A finger button on the shifter wont work for me, too much action. I just need to get under there and wire up a switch on the clutch some how.

Yeah, my buddy has his wired up to when you let off the clutch it disengages the two step. I think he just has a micro switch under the clutch pedal.

Man your MPH is kick ass.........whats that good for in the 1/4 130+?

what size DRs are you running?? I cant launch with ANY boost or higher then 3500 rpm or it just spins. I cant even use the 2step to launch at 3500 cuz it builds too much boost and spins lol

here is a diagram (thanks to C MY 4D) on how to do the 2step so it only comes on the first time you push the clutch (when staged) in and not when you shift every gear. I tried JUST the clutch switched and it sounded like ass when I shifted and I didnt like it on my cruise control or windshield washer button lol

NICE numbers, what were your 60 ft times with "low" boost??

NEVER do business with Sam Rivera AKA Sam Wilson.

255/50/16, I have a set of 28x10 slicks and skinnies on Bogarts. I want to get my anti-roll bar welded in, and tq boxes welded up before I do damage with that.

my 60ft times with 8lbs was, 1.94,1.87

Thanks for the schematic, that something I'm going to work on. That and look at getting a Mcleod street twin. I dont think the spec 3 is going to hang very much longer.

In race trim, with the Bogarts...
