Wastegate Muffler

I’m currently running a MP T70 with a Tial 38mm wastegate dumped into the atmosphere. At first I thought the sound of the wastegate was cool, but now im just getting tired of it. Its way too loud, I’d rather here the spool of the turbo. I have heard of people using lawnmower mufflers on there wastegates. Are there any issues with boost creep due to the restrictive nature of a lawnmower muffler? Or are there any other types of mufflers or silencers that could be used to quiet down the WG?

Do a search on turbomustangs.com there is a alot of discussion about mufflers. I personally use a large are silencer found on industrial air dumps. Here's a link to my build.....a pic of the muffler is there somewhere.

I wish i could hear spooling...Mine just sounds like a major exhaust leak when the WG starts to open....If i was allowed to post attachments, i'd post a video.
