Question Any advice on installing a 2-step on a 5 speed?

What is the best way to hook up a 2 step rev limiter with a 5 speed?

I have the digital 6 too. So you time the button as you release the clutch?

Anyone hook up a switch beneath the clutch pedal?

Yes

yeah I tried it the only problem is when I shifted the 2 step came on but I do have mine set pretty low (3500rpm). It came on between every shift and sounded like crap!!!

No actually you can do it with a relay so that it only activates when the clutch is pushed in after hitting a momentary button.... here is a diagram with a nitrous kit wired in.

you don't; you tie into the clutch switch..... install the momentary switch anywhere..... what this setup will do is when you come up to the line after the burnout you press and hold the momentary switch, depress clutch, let off of the momentary switch. 2 step is activated.
As soon as you press the momentary switch. it then transfers power to the clutch switch. the clutch switch will keep the 2 step on until you let off of the clutch. the 2 step will not come back on until you arm it with the momentary switch again.

I only show a DPDT relay because I was also using it for nitrous. you can use a standard 5 prong relay.
When this was going in my car what I would do is.....
Pull up to line, push momentary switch, depress clutch, release momentary switch, arm nitrous, hold gas to the floor. When I released the clutch the two step would turn off and the nitrous would turn on.

Theoretically it should have a 12v input and a 12v output. You need to splice into the output for it. Should be easy to find with a test light but I would check the voltage just to make sure it is 12v.
