I hope to have mine on the dyno in a few days. I'll finish the gauges Saturday and try to get it on the dyno for tuning but customer work comes first and I'm backed up on that.

this was posted on turbo mustangs by a cusomer.

We'll finally made it to the track for the Ford Buick shootout..
Heres the combo
302 e7's with egr bump removed(NOT PORTED),crower 15511 cam, explorer intake,stock tb&spacer,#36 inj..c&l76
36# fuel press no vac(still around high 10's low 11's af on the wb(meter maxed at 2psi) timing on 7(spout in)
mpt 70 .68ar @9psi,redneck c4(loaded)t-brake....308 gears 7.5 with aftermarket 28 axles and new t-loc....
The car has NO suspension mods what so ever(just subframes) and it shows...I tried various different air pressures to no avail
cars on new 27 10.5 et streets. I really need a two step to tone down the 3800 stall speed on the brake(at full boost )
with some suspention mods and i think im gonna get some et drags well be in businss....I was hoping for a 6 any thing in the 1/8th or a 10 in the 1/4.....The mph is there just gotta get her to hook.....VERY PLEASED WITH MY KIT....QUICKTIME ROCKS!!!!!!!

Heres how the slip goes

rt=.149
60'=1.86 A 1.70 was the best i could muster in qualifiying
330=4.779
1/8=7.18 had a 7.005 in qualifying.
mph=101.77
1000=9.26
1/4=11.033
mph=127.46

I made a few runs but let off at the 1/8 during qualifying(no cage)
Then in the finals i let her rip.....
http://youtube.com/watch?v=6S_k11uzTyo

For single digit boost and some e7's I think its pretty impressive Thanks,Zac

I am imagining it

I have a similar combo to his, difference being:

TEA ported TW heads
70mm TB
F-cam

I'm now running a manual rack, soon k-member, a-arms

And, my car is already setup with full suspension - front adjustables/coilovers w/ 150lb springs, rear adjustables/UPR Pro Series uppers/lowers

I'm freaking stoked each time one of these QT cars get to the track. Funny thing is my goal right now is sub 11's.

Can anyone tell me what bolt ons I will need to save for in the future with this Quicktime kit?

I know I need a Electric fan, injectors, what else??? My car is bone stock!

From what I understand this kit makes enough power to split a stock block - so, i'd save for a block over bolt-ons.

You don't need an electric fan. My HCI, QT runs 160* all day long with a Griffen alum rad, Mr. G 180* thermostat, and new PPI police fan and clutch. There are no clearance issues at all with Newtrods kit
Definitly save up for a block!

let me rephrase my question, how much more do you think i will spend for all the componets to make this kit work? If im not mistaken this is not a complete kit like HP & Hellion. How much more will I spend on piping, fuel injectors, fuel pump, etc...

As far as the stock block, I dont expect it to hold up for too long as I have a heavy right foot!

Again, from my understanding - you will need injectors, fuel pump, meter, and I think that's it?

Newt - i'm looking at the BA2400 for my kit, I can't remember why - but, there was a post recommending the 2400 over the 2600.

Can I get away with the 2400 or is the 2600 better?

I had Newt fab up a Y-pipe for me. It cost an additional $175.00. The local muff guy mad the connections from the Newtrod Y to the Magnaflow cat-back. The exhaust guy said QT's parts/welds were top notch

Hey Supernotch

are you happy running your kit with a 5 speed or would you rather have an auto?

To be honest, not sure yet. I really love driving it now with the stick, but the boost fall off between gear changes with the turbo/manual combo makes me think that automatic may be the way to go in the future.

2400 will work just the 2600 has room for growing
