Should I get this 60/63 garrett T3???

I found this garrett 60/63 for pretty cheap-about 40 bucks. It is missing the wastegate housing, the bolts for that are broken off in the turbo (or at least most of them) and there is a crack by the wastegate hole. There is some side to side play of the impeller but in and out is fine. There is no contact between the the housings and blades when you spin it. I was thinking about getting this unit as the beginning of a second generation setup for my car. Obviously I would rebuild it but are those broken bolts and crack enought to stay away?? No pics sorry.

Sure, $40 isnt bad at all. Add to your parts also.

they all have cracks around the wastegate actuator hole...next to impossible to find one that doesn't...you're just looking to see how many and how big they are lol. the broken bolts is also a common issue and most machine shops can get them out for you easy enough, and probably weld up the cracks in the housing for a few dollars. also, any rebuild place like evergreen turbo do that for you if you want to have it rebuilt instead of doing it yourself. for $40 i'd grab and keep it around as a spare lol
