Lightning MAF

Anybody used a lightning maf with 42's in a turbo blow through application? What were the results and how did you handle the fitment issues? Thanks.

I have a Mach1 maf on my car with 60's. I bought a conversion to make it a 4 pin and also moved my IAT to the maf with two other wires, for a total of 6 wires. I was told the sct maf's are too big for my blow through application, and the Mach1 was perfect fit.

I had to fab up a piece to make it a blow through for the pipe that went to the intake. Nothing hard, it was a piece from an old cold air off a 02'mustang all I did was cut off the 90deg elbow so that it was straight.

What's the going rate for a Mach 1 maf? I was looking at the sct maf from a purely budget strandpoint. How did you mount the iat, in the maf or in the cold air tube?

a LMAF in a turbo blowthru setup will peg anywhere from 350-425 rwhp.

I went through Steve @ Trousely Ford for the maf. I bought a core from a 00' newer ford on ebay for $10 which= $75 for core charge, and got the maf for $175. Or something in that ballpark.

For the other parts
http://www.mass-air.com/Products.htm

Part Number AH-8711-F, this one is to move the ACT to the maf(where mine is by converting to 6 pin), or you can put it in the pipe.
PartNumber OA-9666-F, this pn and the next one I used for the 4 to 6 pin
Part Number OA-9396-F

When I called these guys to order the part, it was a short brief conversation to order. I got the impression they are busy or just short.

I also used the Mafia extender on my maf, I forget which setting its on. But I do know I have 2 or 3 more settings left before it pegs.

All this was at the suggestion of [email protected](tuned both my cars also). And I gotta say it works flawlessly, and easy for tuning.
