Coupe or convertible

I noticed i need motor mounts local auto parts only offers coupe or convertible??? I have a hatcback gt any clue on what i should do?

get the convertable mount's they are supposed to be stronger and they drop the engine a tad

X3 but the OEM mounts are junk. Do your self a favor and get energy suspension motor mounts. They are poly euathane so it will last longer than rubber

If you've got the room, get the vert mounts...fyi, I had a small interference issue w/ the hellion install on my car...

93 yellow limited edition conv.
Black int/top - 5 speed
Hellion/Trick Flow/Wolfe Racecraft equipped
Neverending work in progress...

I'd definitely make sure you have room first as mentioned. I have a '91 GT convertible and had to shim the motor up with washers to get the required clearance for the turbo piping. But if you do have the room, I'd use them for better hood clearance and center of gravity benefits.

1989 LX: Vortech YS-Trim blown DSS 347, Stage 3 Twisted Wedges, Holley Systemax 2, AFM B-451 cam, AFM Power-Pipe, AFM PMS, 80mm Pro-M, Aeromotive 1000 hp fuel system, Precision Turbo 65 lb/hr injectors, UEGO 1000 Wide Band O2, MSD 6BTM and Distributor, 33-spline Moser axles and spool, Bogart Drag-On Stars, UPR Chromemoly K-member and A-Arms, Kooks 1-7/8", Dr. Gas, 130 amp alt, etc.

1991 GT Convertible: stone stock, PA AOD, Edge Converter, 62mm Turbo, 397 rwhp, 458 lb./ft rwtq @ 8 psi

get solid mounts. They're cheap and work great. i got a pair of Moroso solid mounts (http://moroso.com/catalog/categorydi...?catcode=28005) and they are a direct fit from stock and work great.
