Fuel system question?

The filler neck gasket on my car is bad, with over half a tank I think it leaks out, but around 1/4 it doesn't at least I don't think or I can see.

After driving around today I noticed the pffffffffffffffffffff sound you get when you release the gas cap, although the cap was still on.

With that being said my car ran out of fuel during my dyno pull around 5200, I know that my 42's and 255 in tank were more capable than going lean at 5200, could the excessive fuel pressure during hi rpm driving cause the lean condition due to the bad gasket?

Its possible but I doubt it.

FWIW, when I first put my car on the dyno, it went lean at 3500rpm, with same fuel system as you.

I pony'd up the money and got a fuel system. Turbo's require a lot of fuel.
