Well I finally got the car tuned and completely street friendly. Idles and drives like a stock 5.0. I am very satisfied with the numbers. [email protected]
was great at getting this done. James made it look very easy to get tuned. It took only four pulls to get this final number. We did multiple pulls, but when it come down to strokin the keyboard, James I gotta say is on his game!! Big thanks to RWTD!! The phone number is wrong on dyno sheet. Correct number is 251-432-8180
All this is done with the A9L computer, Mach 1 maf(blow through and mafia), 60#inj, alum. windsor sr. heads. Which back in the day(1998) they were the ####, but by todays standards they come up a bit short for higher rpm's as I peaked at 5200rpm.
Final numbers, are 553rwhp and 640rwtq, 14deg timing, 14lbs boost, 93 octane. With 12deg timing it made 525rwhp and 613rwtq and no other changes.
What tuning did your dyno shop use? I need mine tuned badly. Very good numbers! It gives me hope.
