turbo from an 05 legacy gt

I have a question for you guys. My mom has an 05 Subaru Legacy Gt that we had to have the turbo replaced in. I have the turbo sitting in my garage. If i get that rebuilt would I be able to fab that up to my 03 Mach? If so do you think it would be worth it for horsepower and how much $ am I looking at to finish it?

That turbo is going to be too small.
Its made to feed a 2.5L engine, not going to feed your 4.6L
Two of em would though

You can buy all the parts to do a simple
DIY turbo for about $2,000 or less with knock off parts.

he's working with a modular, not a 5.0l. You're going to be better off buying a kit. If you want to fab up a kit yourself, you will need at a minimum a tubular k-member. Check out Turbomustangs.com, or svtperformance.com. if you go to the latter, check out rippinSVT's DIY kit build. best price you'll find for a mod kit.

I've got a friend in town that has done 4-5 mod motor
custom turbo installs for guys here in town and he never uses a tube k-member

No idea how he routes stuff though.

He charges them like $3,200 including all labor, but
uses those awful XSPower turbo.
