Hey fellas, just got back from moroso in west palm beach and got some decent runs with my stang.. First pass I blew an intercooler pipe at about 900 ft. It still ran an [email protected] My next pass, I foot braked the car, came out a dead 60' of 1.82 and still mustered up a [email protected] This was hitting the rev limiter at 1000' and staying in it... I then tried the trans brake, but that blew the drag radials up in smoke, that pass was an [email protected] with a 2.1 sixty foot.. I'm super happy with the car and got thrown out of the track for no roll cage/5point harness blah blah blah..
cliff notes.. car ran [email protected] with 12lbs of boost/stock bottom end/no custom chip or program.. just good old fashion timing and fuel pressure..

trickflow cam stage 1 and trickflow intake

NO CHIP OR FLASH
c4 tranny with 3000 stall converter
3:55 gears with a built rear
car still has a/c
I kept blowing off intercooler piping as well. I welded a bead althe way around the tube, switched to t bolts and still had the problem. turned out i had a bad motormount and it was letting the motor flex over just enough to pull the tube off. I wasted alot of runs doing that, LOL.
Pablo is really smart when it comes to mustangs and srt-4's. Took my srt-4 down there to a few of his dyno days. I'm pretty sure I saw your stang on the dyno. Looks familiar. Sweet runs man. I'm going to see what I get out of it on the stock bottom end. Good ole timing and fuel pressure FTW. Once I get my coupe squared away we'll have to duke it out at the track one night
