10.31 Woohoo

I had my car at mason dixon yesterday and went a [email protected] the first pass,at the big end I was off and on it because I was hitting the rev limiter due to a loose converter. Second pass I went a [email protected] I stayed in it longer and let off a little before the finish line. I was so excited to run these times knowing the car has more in it due tho the converter not letting me make a full pass. I was going 6.51 in the 1/8 @106.

FYI, looking at my time slip from my 10.33 pass looks like you would have run around 10.25

Which AOD do you have? I was looking at Lentech. I don't want to manually shift it just put her in D and blast off some 10's.

Nice!
M-D is the closes track to where I live but it never has racing during the week. I gotta try and get over there this summer!

I manually shift mine. It shifts around 6,000 if I leave it in drive. TSI out of Chicago did it. Still uses the tv cable and there is no switch to remember to shift in and out of overdrive.

Thanks, it is a 347 trickflow topend kit w/ 68mm turbo and b&g hotside,
12lbs of boost by my gauge, pump gas and 275/60 mickey street drag radials. The tranny is a pa c4 w/ standard valve body and a 9" continental converter that was just gone over and tightened up by lenny at ultimate converter concepts, I am going to get a 10" from him If I can sell this 9" due to it still being to loose for my combo.

Erich is you ever go to MD let me know. I would really like to go to Ocean City this weekend for the big car show and cruisin.

I'm still a few weeks away from the track but I'll give you a shout.

Sounds like something I'd like to have. I just don't like to manually shift it all the time as I want a 90% street car to beat up on the exotics with.

On the street you can leave it in drive. Under light load it shifts into od around 40mph. You can adjust that with the tv cable if you want it higher.
