Dyno numbers on Capri

Well finally got the car dynoed and it made 491rwhp on 9lbs w/pump gas, I am happy with that considering my converter is slipping 15%, the tuner said it should be between 4-6%. So now I guess i need to get a new converter. The one I have is a 9 in. and worked great in my dads n/a car but mine just blows through it, as soon as you nail the gas it shoots right up to 5500. the car was only getting 111 mph at the top end of drive, that is how loose the converter was, it should have been around 130 w/ 3.73 and 28" tire. Other than that everything went smoothly, now I just need to get a good 10" converter and throw some more boost to her!! I have a video so I will try to figure out how to post it.

It is a 347 with out of box TFS track heat topend kit with B&G hot side and a 68mm precision turbo, performance automatic c4, complete fuel system 50# injs., etc. etc. https://www.corral.net/photopost/show...0&ppuser=96051

Torque numbers were kinda disapointing but I think that was because of the converter being so loose, it only put down 436ftlbs, I was expecting torque numbers greater than the horsepower.

I have a feeling that torque will jump without the slipping converter.

I might take it to the track the way it is just for ####s and giggles, although, I still have an oil leak to figure out. I had the rear main seal replaced and it is leaking again.

Might be a rear main, but is the any type of sealant on the flexplate bolts going into the crank shaft? If not those bolts will sling oil out.

yea i have sealant on the flywheel bolts, I am thinking maybe not enough crankcase vent, so it is pushing out the rear main seal?
