stock 5.0 crank pulley will not clear the crossover pipe. anybody been there, done that ?

A guy came over and started talking to me about the car. He asked what it ran so I told him 8.80's. He said, "No, I meant in the 1/4 mile."

Maybe look into getting a March underdrive crank pulley.

did you have to get a smaller crank pulley ?

No, i used my stock one but I have a 331 and I have about an inch or two of clearance.

I could see how it would be a tight fit with a 351, but I would think that if your kit was built for a 351 they would have compensated. Maybe they gave you the wrong header(s)??
