Smile HP turbo almost done

I just figured out how to post pics. So here are some pictures of my HP turbo project. Its the stage II. I can say that I did get everything, and all piping fit perfect! I did not get any directions what-so-ever. I have the car ready to start, however I have to talk to somebody about the mass air stuff.

List of things....331 forged rotating assy(done locally by Speed Unlimited), Comp custom grind turbo cam, Windsor Sr. Alum heads(ported), tfs-r intake, and stock fuel lines and 42#'rs for now I just wanna get it running. Its been 7 years!! The trans is a Astro performance G-force bought through www.artsperformanceparts.com as well as a bunch of other things. Great guy to deal with btw!! I have a slew of other parts, if you wanna know what I got just ask, I am not trying to hide anything.

Here are the pictures.

You will still have a bad ride. Last Sat at our local track a stock shortblock car was there with the stage 1 hp kit with a small comp cam, tfs heads and a performer rpm and he said it was making 586rwhp with stock fuel system. Tko 600 with 3.27s and he was blowing off the 26/10 et drags in 2nd. It went 6.7s at 107 though. He said he bought it used off here.

I had the stage 1 kit one a 331, mods are in sig. I made 500rwhp and 606 ft lbs on only 9 psi and a stock fuel sytem. Could have made more but was have a problem getting my mass air to stay on the piping under boost.

thanks for the pics. i will be looking forward to more pics running and all.

A guy came over and started talking to me about the car. He asked what it ran so I told him 8.80's. He said, "No, I meant in the 1/4 mile."

Yes, well at least mine did. I cut mine and made it shorter so that it did not have that droop in it.

Ditto. That pic was taken upon first assembly. I have since shortened the hose, about 5in. and no more droop. And the upper rad. hose is not touching the "hot side" exhaust, I have about 2in of clearence. The angle of the pic makes it look like it touches.
