Ive heard the turbos are cheap chinese knockoffs that will possibly go bad pretty quick and the kit is incomplete and doesnt fit all that well. So if your a good fabricator and/or will eventually upgrade the turbos then it is a good starter kit. Otherwise I would pay the extra money for quality.

i have one of these kits, and Stroker is right about it being a pain in the ass to install, but about the turbos i dont know, i got Garretts with mine, but it was about $300 higher when i bought it, but yes, i did have to fab some pipes for the intercooler and some small fabrication, if i were starting again i would do like he said and pay the money for a good kit that fits right unless you can fabricate pretty good, but it is a nice kit for the money.

SS Autochrome invades yet another car community with their cheap Korean garbage. Their products will continue to be a huge success wherever price is more important than quality.

I agree %100, I paid extra to get decent turbos, but the piping didnt fit exactly right, any other kit i have ever worked with usually fit right in, take advice from someone who has used one of these kits and spend the money right.

Here's what Im wondering, I know a guy that has a shop and can fab me whatever for cheap, unfortunately I dont know what all I would need for a turbo kit. For a kit like this do you need to upgrade ECU and such? Like could it be bolted on and driven to a tuner? I wouldnt want to buy something like this fab the missing parts then have it errupt a 4k short block.

Your best bet is to do some searching over on www.turbomustangs.com

All the information and more is at your fingertips over there and then some.
