Need a question comfirmed

I have a 75mm bullet meter cal'd for the 42's that I will be running on my turbo car......I also have a 3.5" Univer, but it's not cal'd for 42's...I know I can get it re-cal'd, but does anyone think that the 75mm bullet would support 550-575 flywheel horsepower?? I don't think it will.....I think that the 75mm units are only good to 450hp, but I've seen cars with this same size meter make almost 500hp at the tires......I know that the Univer would be the better meter, but if I can use the bullet, then that'll save me about $100 having the Univer re-cal'd.....Then, I can just sell the Univer....What you guys think?

I think the 75 mm should be fine. I'll bet that 450 figure comes from NA cars.

I do not know what a bullet is technically rated for but I do know of several people easily making that same power level with them.

Not saying that the bullets are bad, but the Univer's are the best since they measure air 360*......The Univer's make for the best driveability.....

What I have noticed is it all boils down to if the meter is actually calibrated correctly for the combination. I have seen guys have to send meters back multiple times before the companies got it right in the calibration. I'd imagine in a perfect scenario if both meters truely are calibrated correctly for the app then the universal is the way to go over the bullet.

P.M.A.S. emailed me back and said that using the 75mm bullet on a 575hp motor would be "really" pushing it...He said it would work, but would cost me alot of power......Now, I'm just wondering if he's being really honest or just trying to get me to buy the better meter.....Little does he know that I've got the 3.5" Univer sitting here too.....But that would cost me a Ben Franklin to get re-cal'd....
