i have a tv4501 cold side .60/hot 1.22. off a series 60 detroit diesel. my question is, would it be a good turbo for a small block? thanx

The compressor is too small, and the hot side is too large. Look for .70 or larger compressors (depending on what kinda power you want to make), and a hot side from .75-.95 depending on where you want your boost to come on. A smaller turbine will spool sooner and choke earlier obviously.
