junkyard single turbo 351 or 302

Ok so like the title says I am looking to start a single turbo 351 or a 302....
What car/truck can I get a turbo off that will work.......
there is a Honda driving around the streets with a dodge cumm. Turbo on it and it makes 4 psi @7000 rpm so I don’t want to be like that dumb a$$. So help me out.
I don’t care what hp I make (kind of do) I just want it to run like a raped date...
i have a 302 now but i am looking for a 90's 351 so i need to know what turbos i can use.......
also should i buy headers ? Where? What kind?
And if you have any other info let me know ......... thanks

search and follow what guys have done here...Single turbo's are far less complex and much easier to do yourself..We are biulding a 351 with the GT35/44 turbo.. It should spool real nice and not make too much power for std block...

If you are starting from scratch, why not pick the 351? More cubes and stronger block.

Use a Powerstroke turbo or a Dodge Cumm. turbo and you'll be fine, you should see boost w/ the 351 about 2500rpm my .02

Well first off...u can't compare a honda (4 cylinder ) with your mustang (8 cylinder). The kid with the honda only has a 4 cylinder (1.8L or 2.0L i dont know???) pushing a turbo that is designed to be on a 6.9L (i think) Cummings..that is why he isnt building boost till 7k..but in ur case u have a 5.0L (302) and will have no problem with the stock turbo from the cummings....(for a junkyard set-up atleast)...Also the best bet on headers are the BBK UNEQUAL length..u reverse them (driver side goes on the passenger side of the motor and the passenger side goes on the driver side of the motor)...then flip them....they will basiclly be facing to the front of the car and the collector will face down..then its time to fab up some pipes.....
Oh ill PM u i have a turbo for u..i dont want to offer it here since this isnt the classifieds..
good luck
Erik
